You will need to contact any company (merchant) you pay by Direct Debit and provide them with your new account number and sort code so these can be set up from your new Suits Me account. Any Direct Debits and/or Standing Orders such as Council Tax or Utility bills will need to be updated.
Please bear in mind your own individual payment cycles.
Failure to meet regular payment obligations via Direct Debit, Standing Order or other can negatively impact your credit file. It is really important you notify any regular payees of your change in details in plenty of time, typically Direct Debit payments take 3 days to clear.
Subscriptions (such as Netflix, Gym Memberships) will need to be updated with your new debit card details for recurring card payments
